I love my new bag. It is so beautiful. I work in schools with children who have hearing loss and they love my bag. I get to share information about hearing loss with teachers in the school when they ask about the lovely picture. I also tell them about Ms. Soares. Thanks for sharing her story. It makes the picture even more unique. I had a difficult time choosing from all the options just related to hearing but fell in love with all of her offerings on this site. The quality of the bag is great also.

I absolutely LOVE Monica's artwork and it's extra special to be able to carry her artwork around with me wherever I go. Quality of the bag is good, too!

I’m very pleased with my Back2bike bag from artist John Kurtyka. The bag is high quality so it holds my library books quite securely. And since I’m a bike rider, I love the picture, so unique, people notice it and comment so I tell them about this website and the unique works of this artist.

Artist's Description

Manidooziibi (the Rainy River), or in Ojibwe, "Spirit River", is the border separating a portion of Minnesota and northwestern Ontario. The river is and has been the historic life blood of the area for thousands of years for both aboriginal and non-aboriginal peoples that share its bank and resources. This photographic image seeks to capture the spirit of the river that has nurtured life along its banks for time immemorial.

About Bill Morgenstern

"A Birth Certificate shows that you were born, a Death Certificate shows that you died, AND photos show that you lived." I live in Kerrville, Texas, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country where I photograph nature with a creative and inspired approach. Here, the broad expanse of sky and western landscapes punctuated by details of varying subjects draw me in to explore natural abstractions. Previously I lived in and photographed across Northwestern Ontario and northern Minnesota for over 30 years. After retiring from a career in education, I pursued interests as a nature photographer and outdoor writer living in Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada. The spirit of nature presented through abstract impressionism is an important element of...
