Marine iguana (Amblyrhynchus cristatus) walking underwater. This is the only truly marine lizard. It is found around the coast of the Galapagos Islands. It spends much of its time in the water feeding on seaweed and algae near the shore. They are large lizards, with some individuals reaching nearly 2 metres in length.
