Wonderful image!! We love spheres'! Ever wonder how to build a sphere that can be accessed in multiple directions without losing it's structural integrity?

woahhhhh, a glimpse into the future! how did you go about creating this? What is the acrylic/digital technique you used? thanks
Don Dixon replied:
Hi Ron, the foreground landscape (with astronauts) and the background mountains come from two different acrylic paintings. I modeled the domed farms in 3D and composited it all with Photoshop. I was unhappy with the compositions of the traditional paintings but was pleased to be able to salvage some acceptable elements to incorporate in a better composition.
