I was told 38 yrs ago it was circa 1650 Sounds like a tv show I’ve never seen but honestly paid $200 for the frame at a junk/antique shop and painting was in it but damaged and I had it repaired . Total price $200. Murillo had several people copy his work in the 1700s and 1800s but I’ve had this one carbon dated 1654 three times! He would have been 37 yrs old and no one yet was copying or he not that recognized. An art expert in N.Y. is telling me it’s not original but radio isotopes don’t lie. Scratching my head now of what to do . Wayne

This is such good protection for my phone! Yes, I have dropped it a couple times and my phone was fine! What a blessing! I don't use my phone a lot in public, but I've had many people ask where I got it - even several people in Fiji! I wish I had a picture of two young boys looking at it! They were in awe!

I loved the name of the art, as well as the colors. The heavy case is very protective and easy to find in my purse...and reminds me to remain hopeful always!

This is my second of these. My first for my iPhone6 had great color. My second, for my iPhoneXR, the colors are a bit washed out. Not as happy with this one.

Artist's Description

I am fascinated by both the simplicity and the alchemy of the Cyanotype process. This old process has changed the way I take photos. While composing a photo, I am also considering which printing technique best suits the image. My subjects are the oddities of roadside Americana and the crumbling graves of persons long gone. You may find me lurking about cemeteries in my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. I an enamored of the brush strokes so typical of cyanotypes and the moody blue color intensifies the sense of loss in my cemetery images.

About Jane Linders

My current passion is an alternative photographic process called Polaroid transfers. Each transfer is hand-made by the photographer using specific materials and equipment to achieve a desired effect. A transparency is projected on to professional Polaroid print film and as development begins, the print and chemicals are prematurely separated. The image is transferred on to dampened watercolor paper for a unique image which has a dated, artistic photo-painting appearance. Exposure, pressure, time, paper and other variables make each print an original mono-print. Prints for sale in my Etsy shop too: http://www.etsy.com/shop/jalinde I am fascinated by the unpredictability of Polaroid transfers and I love the freedom of...
