I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

Mile High - Original Photography by Karol Livote
The Mile High Swinging Bridge located in Linville, NC is a 228 foot steel suspension bridge that spans an 80 foot chasm at more than a mile in elevation. It is America's highest suspension footbridge. It was built in 1952 at a cost of $15,000. It was rebuilt in 1999, at a cost of $300,000.

No matter how brave you are, if you are a person of normal imagination, it is impossible to approach the bridge without wondering if it COULD fall down, and wondering, if it could, might it not do so with you in the middle of it. Visitors would often hold back from stepping onto the bridge if one or two other people were already on it. There is a sign that the load limit is a 40 person limit. However the truth is, the bridge could hold 500 people with no trouble at all. Now you will see 15-20 people at a time on the bridge, but before the sign went up, there w...
Inspired by the world around me, I am sent out to capture moments in time, that I hope can find another's soul, the way it has captured mine! That is Karol Livote's motto! Karol's story is quite simple: When she was about ten years old, her sister gave her the first camera she would ever use. She participated in photography classes and had her own home darkroom. At that time, most of Karol's work consisted of capturing the essence of a person. After high school, life took her in another direction, but she continued her photography on...
