Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Artist's Description

My fascination with walls, windows and doors originates in their symbolism (at least for me). Walls are the separation between here and there; between one place and another another place; between inside and outside ... between one person and another. Windows and doors are the connection between here and there ... and metaphorically, the connection points between people. this was part of the "Walls, Windows and Doors" exhibit at the Amerind Museum in Dragoon, AZ. A 16"x24" print of this is now part of the museum's permanent collection.

About Joe Kozlowski

Joe Kozlowski

I was schooled at Syracuse University and Shimer College but I don't think my schooling got in the way of my education. I've lived and worked in Chicago, San Francisco, Cleveland, Grand Rapids (MI), The Poconos, the Metropolitan NY areas and Tucson, Arizona. My father was a portrait artist and art teacher (you can find his bio listed on Wikipedia). I've been involved in all aspects of photography for...
