Beautiful. The artist captured the essence of one of New York City’s most iconic buildings. Humphrey Bogart and the cast of Dead End would be proud. The building looks out across the East River and captures the changing sunlight all day. The majesty of this coveted address has been captured by the artist and radiates off the easel. The River House is home to an elite group that shuns the red carpet and publicity. Most people do not even know about it, unless of course they are Manhattan real estate agents, or wealthy descendants of Edith Wharton and Henry James. But old money and some new money are very aware of the social and historical significance of this building. It brings one back to the Art Deco age of New York’s Manhattan. The artist has delivered a representation of the building worthy of the highest praise.
