Description
My mom still has a lot of the once hundreds of marbles she collected in her childhood, back in the 1930's. My brother and I loved to play with them when we were children. We always fought over who would get to use our favorite marble shooter. Mom still has the shooter, and we all have a jar full of our favorites. It was a lot of fun painting the reflections and colors!

Marbles absolutely fascinate me. I have several jars of them from different eras, but I have never come close to painting them this well! l/f

Very cool, and I would think not easy Anne!
Anne Gifford replied:
Thank you Linda. I think the neighbors thought I was crazy when I was outside arranging these marbles in the sunlight to photograph for reference!
