The Moonhole is a natural rocky arch on the western part of Bequia, an island in the Grenadines (St. Vincent and The Grenadines), and it gets its name because the moon can be seen through the hole in the rock at certain times of the month. The buildings were constructed during the 1960's by Tom Johnson, but had to be abandoned because constant rock falls made occupation too dangerous. Today, they are used as a resort for those looking for something out of the ordinary, as there are no doors or windows, and it is not uncommon for trees and roots to be growing through the rooms...
