Artist's Description
I was so startled one night by this sight of the moon while walking through downtown Savannah, Georgia, that I automatically pulled my camera from my shoulder bag and starting shooting photos without using a filter of any kind. As a result, the exposure produced a natural sparkling grainy blur over everything. The colorful blaze around the moon was also a natural reflection of light bouncing off and going through the passing clouds.
Savannah has been called one of the most haunted cities in America. However, the clouds closest to the moon in this print look more like the shining wings of an angel than a ghost.
