A wooden rowing boat rests moored on the banks of Loch Awe in Assynt, its weathered form a quiet contrast to the still waters. Beyond, a small copse of trees rises from the loch, while distant hills glow in the soft light of early morning. Overhead, a mostly clear sky, scattered with a few drifting clouds, adds to the sense of tranquility. A great photograph for those who appreciate the peaceful beauty of the Scottish Highlands.
