My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.
I painted the base coat and layered several sheets of colored Nepalese Lokta Paper on the canvas. Then I glazed several coats and let dry. I added different colors of ink and liquid acrylic to paint the background, added approximately four layers and then painted the Birch trees with acrylic Heavy Body with a pallet knife. The original is framed in a black 7/8" Contour Floater Frame. The canvas is "heavily" textured and very noticeable to the viewer. The texture will be seen on the prints.
