Artist's Description
My artistic technique and style (Hard-edge, surreal abstractionism) was born from the sketches I drew, of angular shapes on blank paper, I created as a child. As I got older, I started adding the elements of nature in the form of clouds, water, sand, sunsets, and sunrises; to reflect some of the happiest memories I had growing up. Every weekend my family and I would spend the weekends at the beach. Some mornings I would wake up early and watch the sunrise and on special occasions me, my mom and dad would stay on the beach till sunset with our friends. Now 30 years later I am still painting surreal abstractions, looking forward to the next sunrise or sunsets that inspire me.
