Drawn for a friend's newborn baby's nursery room. He was born prematurely and spent quite a bit of time in the hospital before going home. That special bond between baby and parents was present from the first moment and it grew stronger just as his tiny body did. That bond was my inspiration for this piece.I uploaded this when it was technically a work in progress- before I had even begun work on the background- but I like the look of this pair on white, so I decided to share this version too. I've been obsessed with realism since I was a kid. The mediums I prefer to use are graphite, colored pencil, and acrylic paint. My work covers a wide variety of subjects including: portraits of pets and people, landscapes, still life, florals, wildlife, and more.
