Mel, this is absolutely outstanding ... marvelous barn ... beautiful shape ... and what an extraordinary view of those mountains!!!! WOW!!!!! What a find ... so lovingly and beautifully captured!!!

outstanding photo.

I love these old places and this one is a beauty! Well done!

Fabulous capture of a gorgeous scene!

Wonderful capture Mel ... amazing colors and beautiful landscape scenery!

Breathtaking Mel!!! Such rich colors!! Terrific!

Hi Mel, your gallery is wonderful. We will go to wyoming this summer and I am impatient to discover the beauty of Grand Teton Nl Park!

Wow, not much more to say really.

Gorgeous photo Mel, superb color and lighing. Thanks for commenting on one of my landscapes, painting big bright loose skies and grasslands is a respite for me from the detailed cityscenes that my clients collect. Montreal is a crowded North American city, shops on every block, cars honking at every turn. So my city has become my canvas. Sold my 12th print today on FAA,one of my cityscenes .... But still I enjoy relaxing in the countryside, admiring this great Moultans Barn scene. Love all your well written and detailed descriptions, they transport us right there beside you

Beautiful Photograph Mel! I love the mountain range in the back..

Beautiful shot Mel. I would love to be there.

Decent reproduction of part of of the Monet "Waterlilies" panels in the Orangerie in Paris. Make sure not to get a wide black frame as I did: it really attracts too attention away from the image. Get a very thin black rectangular frame instead.

Very poor reproduction of painting in Florence; details are lost, especially of the hair. The painting, though ostensibly the reproduction comes from the Bridgeman Art Library, becomes a muddled dark brownish image. Also the image is cropped badly on the left, losing a good part of the sleeve and shoulder of the white garment. Avoid at all cost. I can't believe Fineartamerica is selling this as is.

Artist's Description

(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) In the late 1800s, Thomas Moulton built this barn about 15 miles north of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. You will find it at the southern end of the Grand Teton National Park, near Moose Junction on Antelope Flats Road. This flat section of land was first settled by a group of Mormons, so the area is known as Mormons Row. Because of its rustic charm and strategic location in front of the majestic Teton Range, they say it is the most photographed barn in the United States. Maybe so, maybe not but I was very pleased to see the morning sun shine on ... Moultons Barn. I created this image from my original photograph taken on location by adding digital enhancements, textures and other effects. These effects and image details will become more visible by clicking inside the green square magnifier as the cursor is placed over the image. About Mel Steinhauer

My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with the U.S. Army in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR film camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold, but I have always enjoyed photography as an art form. Several years ago, after surviving another kind of war with cancer, I began to really see the beauty in our world. Ever since then I have been inspired with a new awareness of life and an improved photographic vision. This has compelled me to find beautiful scenes wherever I go and share my favorite creations with others who may not have the time to do so. In 2006 I...
