I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

During the winter months, when the Snake River Canyon is laden with snow and ice, the mountain goats come closer to the roads where food may be exposed and more easily obtained.
Both male and female mountain goats have beards, short tails, and long black horns, approximately 6-11 inches in length, which contain yearly growth rings. They are protected from the elements by their woolly white double coats. The fine, dense wool of their undercoats is covered by an outer layer of longer, hollow hairs. Mountain goats molt in spring by rubbing against rocks and trees, with the adult bucks, or males, shedding their extra wool first and the pregnant does, or females, shedding last. Their coats help them to withstand winter temperatures as low as −50 °F and winds of up to 100 mph. They seek extremely high altitude locations during the summer months.
Sandra Bronstein finds great pleasure in sharing the beauty of the natural world and its magnificent wildlife as seen through her lenses for over 40 years. Having been intrigued by many different elements, in both the manmade and natural world, she strives to discover new and different ways to capture these elements. Her vision provides a window into the ever changing world and, simply put, Sandra has captured and shares with us a simple moment in time. Sandra was raised and continues to reside in large metropolitan cities but has always had a love of nature and wilderness. It was due, in part, to family travels and being an "outdoor" girl which kept her love strong for wildlife and the environment. That love and respect shows in each...
