Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

One of my favorite places to photograph in Many Glacier, Swiftcurrent Falls is always a beautiful place visit. On this morning I was hoping to capature some color and/or beautiful early morning light from the sunrise. The sun didn't even make an appearance due to the overcast cloud cover but that really didn't matter. The beauty was still there, just in a different light. I actually prefer to photograph waterfalls in even overcast light to prevent burning out any highlights. So, on this morning, it was a blessing in disguise.
My photography focus is primarily nature and wildlife. I have a strong passion for the outdoors, capturing images that help preserve the numerous public lands and all that they offer. My travels take me all over the western united states to the common and not so common places. Many of my photos concentrate on the National Parks of Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Arches National Parks. Other areas of my travels include Moab Utah, Central Oregon, the Oregon coast and many areas around my home State of Washington. Take your time and enjoy my images.
