Lit in 1906, the Mukilteo Light was designed by Carl Leick, the German designer who brought beauty and durability to his creations. This lighthouse is constructed of wood: Not the typical building material for a lighthouse. There is a ferry terminal here at Mukilteo that is well used. There is a fine little gift shop at the lighthouse.

Art is in the eye of the beholder. I will not write in the third person here. That sounds pretentious and, most of the time, inaccurate. Being in the last third of my life, it becomes clear good health is the finest gift possible. Again, nature provides the most beautiful inspirations. Walk into your own garden. Stroll a beach or a path in the woods. Watch the sun and clouds or a kitten playing with a piece of string. Pay attention to the faces you see...they each tell their own story.
