Tapestry Reviews (17)

Average Rating (3.82 Stars):

I bought this tapestry for my mother who is in the final stages of lung caner. I wanted to brighten her room and bring her some cheer. I paid extra to have it shipped Next Day Air. We received the package 5 days after ordering. However, I was very diappointed at the taperstry when I opened it. It is very blurry and distorted. The fabric is OKAY somewhat thin, but not terrible. I have ordered many tapestries from another company recently as Christmas gifts for 1/2 the price that are way better quality and very clear and vibrant. I will not order again from Fine Art America....

Excellent quality. I am so pleased with my purchase, it's much better than I imagined. The image is crisp clear and the fabric is very good quality and hemmed all around. I have bought it to hang in my apartment in Tenerife which we have called The Kestrels as these birds fly and hover around it all day. I can't wait to return and hang it on the wall.

This is becoming the focal point of a four poster bed canopy.

It’s been almost two months and I still haven’t gotten my package after contacting Fine Art America multiple times. Would not buy from them again.

Is so perfect the way that this tapestry fits my bedroom wall! Love it

Artist's Description

Captured in northern CA., USA Mullein The tall stems of Mullein, covered in fine down, were once burned as tapers in funeral processions. An infused oil made from the flowers was a standby in many parts of Europe for ailments as diverse as hemorrhoids and ear infections. Parts used: Flowers A relaxing expectorant for dry, chronic, hard coughs such as in whooping cough, tuberculosis, asthma, and bronchitis. The flowers are also effective for throat inflammations. Still made today, the infused oil is used to soothe inflammations, wounds, and earache. Harvest the flowers individually. Leaves Used mainly for respiratory disorders, the leaves were at one time made into herbal tobacco and smoked for asthma and tuberculosis. Traditionally, the plant was regarded as antiseptic and the large leaves...

About Joyce Dickens

My name is Joyce Dickens and I work in Digital Photography. I like to refer to my work as Infused Artography. I have worked quite a while in photography but only since 2003, have I decided that this is what really brings me Joy and Purpose! I love photography and my camera has become an extension of me; I see beauty everywhere I look, and sometimes it will be the smallest thing that catches my attention and just begs me to photograph it; these things many times would go unnoticed. I feel blessed and am totally in awe of the beauty, which surrounds us, and everyday is like a new beginning, a new moment in time to share what I See with all of you. There was a time not that long ago, that I would say proudly that I do not edit my...
