This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

About Aleta Parks
Aleta Parks has a natural talent for the arts. She has been able to draw and paint from a young age. Some of her paintings have been displayed in a resturant in NB, Canada. Though she likes to paint most anything, and loves a challenge, Creation and wildlife are her favorites. She has said (as others have), that if 10 artist painted the same scene all the paintings would look different, because everyone sees things differently. The Paintings of the teddy bears are ideas from when her sons (now grown up) were given some homemade bears. Each bear had it's own outfit with a different theme. They are called "Mystery Bears".

The artistic mind of your's Aleta always makes me wonder what you are going to paint next. This one is very clever and a beautiful choice colours one can almost see and hear the wild horses moving across the painting. I hope they don't hit no cars.
