I love this and it's situated behind me a little in my office. When I turn towards it, I'm reminded that there is always light and colour and to remember my roots. Artist's Description
The MV Kaleetan is a Super Class ferry operated by Washington State Ferries. The Kaleetan is named for a mountain peak northwest of Snoqualmie Pass. As of mid 2011, the boat operates on the Anacortes/San Juan Islands route. The boat will typically operate the northern route in the summer and then move to the more southern Seattle-Bremerton route for the rest of the year.
About Larry Keahey
My love for photography began when I was very young; as the photo shows me reaching for dad's new Leica camera. My 1st camera a Kodak, was given to me by my father back before grade school. The camera even had film in it. The only thing I remember about this camera was that you viewed through the top. Dad was a professional photographer most of his life. So you might say that I have inherited my father's eye to see the beauty of this world. I want to dedicate this page to my best friend, who is also my wonderful wife, Phyllis. She's been my camera crew for over 47 years and counting. Please enjoy the pictures and your comments are very welcome.
