This is my first purchase from Fine Art America. I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to hang in our newly renovated master bathroom wall. This is the first time my cousin Regina comes to Los Angeles and she loves it. She loves my paintings so I decided to paint one for her. This painting is going back with her to Peru so its permanent home will be Lima, Peru!!! This is the 4th painting residing in PERU.
About Pilar Martinez-Byrne
Painting for me is a feeling a need that comes from within, it is food for my soul. My main muse is my daughter but I also like to paint about my life experiences and my trips. I am a colorist, love bright colors. My mother is also a great artist and my daughter Natasha is just starting to put her art on canvas so I just started to share my page with her. I think a new phase of my life as an artist is starting. There is a reason why we are able to have this talent and for me the time to share my talent has come.
