One of a series of altered reproductions of a single pear. The original dimensional, recycled mixed media has ragged edges, and this print is presented to utilize that edge as part of the design. If one wished for a more traditional look, I could crop it back to a more regular shape.
I have been a producing artist for over 30 years, starting out as a potter/sculptor back in my native Michigan. I now paint, work with mixed media, and a bit of photography. . .and now and then, a little clay! I have become known primarily for my work in a dimensional, recycled mixed media w/acrylic, and all of my originals are also available as prints and as cards. Joining Fine Arts America has led me to pull out some of my old images, and to find a renewed interest and pleasure in the techniques and styles that I have passed through over the past few years.
