I often see them, appearing fleetingly in the moving grasses as the wind blows through them, someties rising above sand dunes or siiting calmly secluded in the dancing shadows in the woods on a sunny day.
I knew from the first exactly who they were and when they will always appear. Only when the mind is peaceful and at rest do they come. Many think them a sign of madness and so, shut them out quickly in order to maintain the semblance of normality, the corporation of society and laws, and rules, and place, and station, caste, gender, and on and on, so many grids laid to keep the guardians at bay.
I hope someday more will let them in and explore with joy the edges of infinity and the doorways to other worlds and further on that big one to forever.
Strange, so strange. Keep them out, the destructor says. But, I walk away smiling. The days pass so fast. These little guys are my destructors. Embrace them if you dare to be free.
