I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

This was a big hit as a gift. The recipients had taken a romantic picture in this locale And now they have a beautiful bag to take with them on their honeymoon.
I must like a challenge. This is only the second portrait I have ever painted (see Portrait of Dali).
Here I wanted to paint a portrait of Van Gogh...as if Modigliani had painted it -- with a mask like, elongated face, and I wanted to honor both artists. This is not a copy of any painting. They never met -- Modigliani was age 6 when Van Gogh died. They both died tragically in their 30's.
I have now spent a lot of time with Vincent and feel I know him better. Here I gave him a knowing look, as if he understood it all.
The Original Oil Painting is, at this time, still available to the right collector. It is 18 x 24 and the price includes a complimentary frame: $800.
