Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Abstract neoexpressionism. Using the principles of Gestalt, to create a recognizable content. The perception is the ability to organize and give meaning. The meaning is not; is given, then it is not universal, but is constructed in a process of interpretation for which we use learned perceptual systems. These systems by which the mind perceives and processes visual information were studied by the Gestalt.
I have worked in all the classical techniques and I like figurative and abstract art and also art history. I have a very refined technique in all art disciplines, and I am lucky to have had excellent teachers. Likewise, I don't do commissioned jobs. Furthermore, I only paint and draw what I like, and I try to enjoy everything that inspires me and reinforces my philosophy and my creative scientific spirit. Beauty is everywhere or almost everywhere. That is my language, and it is only for open-minded adults and humanists. I hope that you enjoy your visit and that you take a piece of your homes to make your eyes happy. Freedom of expression is what art needs. www.quim-abella.com
