This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

I was not impressed. The picture was not on the whole mug the way the picture shows.
This piece is a combination of Edgar Allan Poe and Alan Parsons ( Tales of mystery and imagination ).There are several songs/poems combined with a shadow of Poe with his eyes in the wall ( cask ) from one of his own stories.Both of these men are/were genius.
An example is this: "Shadows of shadows passing. It is now 1831, and as always I am
absorbed with a delicate thought. It is how poetry has indefinite
sensations, to which end music is inessential. Since the comprehension
of sweet sound is our most indefinite conception, music, when combined
with a pleasurable idea, is poetry. Music without the idea is simply music.
Without music or an intriguing idea, colour becomes pallor, man becomes
carcase, home becomes catacomb, and the dead are but for a moment
motionless."
