2015. "Tribute in Lights" as seen from the "Top of the Rock" (Rockefeller Center Observation Deck). You can imagine that it was CRAZY crowded on the deck that evening. I had to wait for awhile just to get some "space" at the edge of the rail. That's the Empire State Building in foreground, and the Brooklyn Bridge and the new Freedom Tower in the distance with the lights that are only on for a few hours a year, from sunset on 9-11 to sunrise on 9-12.
