Is beautiful.... My son was the lead African penguin zookeeper.... He died suddenly at age 64 last October.... He even went to SACC OB in South Africa and volunteered for 2 weeks.... He had hoped to go back when he retired at 67....... The tote is for my daughter-in-law for Christmas...... At this moment she is in Sarasota Florida to put Kevin's ashes in Eternal reefs...... It was his choice when he passed away.... Never realizing it would be so soon..... I am 95 years old... A mother with a broken heart..... He was such a great guy... And was known to lots of people in Rochester where he lived as the penguin guy......... I wish I could send you a picture of him......

Love Tina LeCours work. I am an avid crossstitcher and use the bags to hold the threads that are used in my projects. They are perfect and extremely well made.
My friend and student, Meredith Sears and her husband took some wonderful photos of the owls that reside at Twin Lakes, a park near Boulder, Clorado. I found their photos to be great inspiration for two paintings....this is the first of them. I used masking fluid to preserve the white highlights and when I rubbed it off, there was the owl!!

Anne, your style lends itself particularly well to nocturnes. I'm thinking about starting a nocturne series soon but it will probably be in oils. It's very difficult to get a deep, dark black with watercolor.
