Quality product and excellent service. Although this was called Simplicity by the artist is is anything but - it is an extraordinary study of light on glass by Dominic Murray. The way it has been reproduced allows you to enjoy his amazing skill. We were lucky enough to see his work in Lanzarote, so had high expectations. We will definitely be using you again!

I love Lance Headlee art.... This is my 3rd picture... I will attach the picture and you will see how wonderful it looks in my room. My only disappointment was that it wasn’t signed, my other two paintings were signed.... It won’t top my from liking this because I love his artistry very Sexy Southwest.... I am not a Southwest decorator but I have to have these around my house... too beautiful not too.... Thank you Maryann O’Connor... I hope I can see you in Arizona again when you come to display your art.....

Good quality. I thought they would wrap the image on the sides but it's actually just black on the side. Wish I could choose that side color. But good quality. Many complements from the bitches.

So clever and a brilliant use of color!

Artist's Description

This is a piece made from found parts. The bottom is a gas hot plate, air filter and lamp holder for the wings. It is both female this side and male the other side. The carpet cutter becomes a mans equipment with doorknobs for balls and the other end a womans equipment. The another artist pointed out that it looks just the famous art piece, Nike of Samothrace, a marble sculpture of a woman with no head, arms but has wings. Thus the title.

About Bill Czappa

Bill Czappa

I was born on July 22, 1947 in Los Angeles, California. Around 1950 my family moved to the coastal community of Culver City near Venice Beach. My father was another early influence on my work; he was a metal and wood worker, and I learned building skills from him. He was very resourceful and inventive, whipping together small buildings and additions on our property. In 1962 I saw an exhibition of work by installation and assemblage artist Edward Kienholz. It inspired me to make my own sculpture from found objects. During this time I also became...
