History is my hobby and wily statesman Maurice Talleyrand an unexpected hero. This image is of him aged 40 in Philadelphia exile: bored, lonely and homesick for Paris. This second mug now makes a pair. I chose the mauve background to match the upholstery of my neoclassical office sofa & chair.

My son has always loved Bob Dylan and says heβs the best songwriter ever. He loves this coffee mug and uses it daily! The artist depiction of Dylan is perfect, brooding, intense and a wonderful rendition of a soulful artist!

High quality and I appreciate that a large-size mug is available! My only quibble is that the font size on the caption is VERY small. The caption needs to be larger to be truly legible.

While at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico, I was taken by a huge tree as it leaned into the scene in front of me, its branches extending outward with young, green leaves. Two years later, I found myself at Ghost Ranch again. I located the exact spot where the tree had stood, and it was gone. I checked and rechecked several times in hopes I was mistaken, but I was not, so I painted this tribute to the tree.
Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States. She began her career as a silkscreen artist, and now works with watercolor, building successive layers of color to create her vibrant, rich, and detailed paintings.
