Beautiful Dakini Offering a Lotus Flower, out of which the mantra 'Om Mani Padme Hum' appears. Om Mani Padme Hum is the most recited mantra in Tibet. It's the mantra of Avalokiteshvara (Tib.: Chenrezig) the Buddha of Compassion.

Carmen Mensink is an internationally renowned painter of Thangkas, the traditional Tibetan scroll paintings of Buddhas and mandalas. She is the founder of the School for Tibetan Buddhist Art. Carmen was asked to welcome the Dalai Lama in the Netherlands in the traditional way by creating 30 feet floor paintings of the '8 Auspicious Symbols' in 2009, 2014 and 2018.
