This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
This store belonged to an old gentleman by the name of Gordon Mast, in the tiny town of Waldo Kansas. Gordon was a good man. Set in his ways, for a fact, but one of the most generous men I've ever known. He always had free soda pop, coffee, or ice water for anyone that happened to come by. As often as not, if a person was interested in something, he'd give it to them, rather than selling. Not that many folks stop to see old Gordon, and that was a shame. The world lost a real character when Gordon Mast, of Waldo Kansas, died in his 90th year.
About Lynne and Don Wright
Hi Everybody... We are Lynne and Don Wright, and we live in the bustling city of Luray Kansas, population under 200. Big city we are not! Lynne is a painter in oils and watercolors, and having been born and raised on the west coast of the USA, she loves painting seascapes, as well as the local scenery around home, which is also beautiful, but in another way. Don is a photographer, and is more than willing to photograph anything in front of him. That being said, his true love is capturing things old. Barns, sheds, houses, machinery, etc. If he wants a portrait of an old person, he turns the camera on himself. Thanks for stopping by and checking out our work. It is very much appreciated. God bless, Lynne and Don

This used to be on a post outside of a big "junk store" owned by an old gentleman that would give away as much as he sold. Anyone that stopped in was offered cold water, ice tea, or root beer. He was such a great guy. One day he rolled out of bed & hit his head, dying on the spot. Gordon Mast was 90 years old.
