The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Born in Daytona Beach, Florida, Evelyn has always had a fondness for the salt air, sand and sunshine found on its beaches, but she has also traveled to some beautiful places around the USA and it is reflected in much of her artwork. Evelyn has explored several art forms creating works in watercolors, pastels, acrylics and now oils. Although Evelyn had dabbled in drawing and painting off and on for some years, while living near Chicago at Great Lakes Naval Training Center Evelyn began her education in fine arts taking drawing and watercolor classes at Lake County Community College, She wanted to learn perspective and create depth in her pictures. Thank you kindly. I haven't painted for sometime and finishing this one was a major accomplishment. I started taking classes at a Bob Ross workshop just to get myself involved again. I am now planning to sign up for classes at our local art league. I am really excited about it. Elaine Farmer told me about FineArt America so I thought I'd post a few pictures and see how it goes. I'd like very much to retire from my job and pursue art almost full time (I need to make sure I don't neglect my hubby). The barn was painted at the request of my brother-in-law five years ago. I tried and tried, but couldn't get the barn itself to work out. Sadly, my brother-in-law died before I finished the painting this past January. I gave it to my sister as a housewarming gift for her new home in Indiana.
