I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

That would have been cool :) My brother had a tan one. One evening he parked it in the lobby of his college residence hall because he couldn't find a parking space. The life of owning a bug in the early seventies. :)
