The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

My brother was the astronaut who shot this photo on the STS 58 mission; since he was photographing on behalf of NASA, his name is not directly linked to the photo. He was passionate about mountains, to include climbing. He was featured in National Geographic, noting that their map of Everest allowed him to specifically identify that he had captured the view of K2. It is a nice piece of art in its own right, but the backstory is meaningful to our family and we are glad we could acquire this art. We have bought both an acrylic version and a metal version; both are great mediums for this specific photo.

Newly designed logo to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the falling of the Old Man of the Mountain of Franconia Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The Great Stone Face was a symbol of the State of New Hampshire since 1945. Enjoy it as a print, on a T-shirt, on a sticker - however you would like. This Transparent Background image will allow the colors of whatever it is printed on to show through.

My love of photography initially stemmed from a long involvement with oil painting. The creative working and re-working with oils to produce different results never ceased to amaze me. I've found that a digital darkroom has similarities to the magic of oils, and I enjoy painting with light as much as I did with a brush and canvas. I draw inspiration from my love of the expansive wilderness that we have here in New Hampshire. Waterfalls and craggy ridges are among my favorite subjects, especially those long forgotten by many and far off the beaten path. All images were created via Canon cameras.
