I chose this particular picture of the great MAJOR TAYLOR because it depicts Major as a fine young athlete in the typical pose of a track cyclist riding at speed. Now part of a public display Halesowen (UK) library to celebrate Black History Month. David Viner, MAJOR TAYLOR INITATIVE

I loved this painting of a 1967 Shelby "Mustang car chase action scene"... This artist let his imagination inspire his work with plenty of action on the go with a major hint of danger. I had a 1967 Shelby Mustang for 10 years and had my share of dangerous situations. So yes I can relation I had a lot of adventures with that car. Honestly I'm totally bored with static photos or paintings of cars just parked. This painting tugs at my inner sense of imagination I almost wish I was the driver of that Shelby - in a alternate universe.. No other artist is going down this path of action artwork...Great job please do more - Mustang action painting like this and I'll be their ready to buy... I would love to see a 1969 Mustang in a similar action painting.

While there, I purchased a Asahi Pentax 35mm camera and lots of film as I intended to take lots of pictues of all of the touristy stuff. Later, while still in the navy I traded the Pentax for a Nikon F, and that for a Hasselblad 500c. With the Hasselblad I finally met my match as I couldn't afford any extra lenses or film backs as they cost more than the camera with its 80mm lens. So here I am many years later, still taking pictures. My favrorte photographic subjects include birds (especially hummingbirds), trains, wildlife, landscapes, and...
