Mr. Stewart, Wanted to say that I liked the new painting you have posted. I especially liked the perspective on the Hurricane. I liked the fact also that it has a painterly quality to it as well. Don't get me wrong I like Stan Stokes aviation art, but it seems a little too crisp. Your hurricane has that 'been used' aspect to it. Well here I am critiquing artists that are actually out there in the publics eye! Anyway, really liked it! Scott

This was a gift to a person who is restoring a prairie. This year she has 14 herons gathering on the banks of the Little Sioux River. The tote bag was well received.

Summer, 1940, the Battle of Britain: A Hawker Hurricane destroys an He-111 before the bomber can drop it's bomb load on London.

About Marc Stewart

Recipient of the 2008 R. G. Smith Award for Excellence in Naval Aviation Art. Presented by the National Museum of Naval Aviation Foundation. Marc Stewart is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, currently residing in Newnan, Georgia. He has always had an interest in flying and of aircraft (WWII aircraft in particular). As a teenager he earned his pilots license. He and his friends flew all over the U.S. and Canada in a Cessna 120, and through the ignorance of youth (mixed with a lot of luck) narrowly averted death many times! They would often get two aircraft and "dogfight" each other or put on "airshows" for their friends -- including one stunt flight through an expressway underpass.
