I find lighthouses wonderful and captivating. Outside of their incredible architecture they are also monuments of history. In their walls are hidden stories of ships fighting against the fury of a stormy sea. In most of my paintings, I create an atmosphere that reflects these dangers of the Ocean. I, therefore, paint traumatic skies and foaming waves. I believe that this creates a point of interesting in a seascape, especially if there is a distinctive contrast between the dark and light of the water and sky. The ocean is magnificent and majestic; it is a privilege that I can share such beauty through my art.
