Pop art comes in many forms. I consider this one of them. You'll find here an ACTUAL, REAL mugshot of Ozzy Osbourne. Following his May 14, 1984, tour stop at Memphis Mid-South Coliseum ended with Ozzy Osbourne in the drunk tank. He was arrested at 12:30AM on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication, after the cops said they found the former Black Sabbath frontman staggering drunk in Memphis Beale Street entertainment district.
This shot is remastered and enhanced, while remaining gritty and striking... sometimes off-putting, but always compelling.

You want to hear the rest of the story? Here is some trivia for ya,I used to work for the Memphis Police Dept as a Photographer doing anything and everything. Well we also handled all of the Mugshots from the jail but it was only the negatives since printing every single one would take up so much room. So I came to work one morning and my boss said Go find R&I number ******8 (whatever it was) and destroy the negative since charges have been dropped . So I look it to make sure everything is correct and it says John Michael Osbourne . I say wait a min so I look at the subject and damn,It's Ozzy. I was even at the show before. So I run to the printer and make one copy,this copy and cut up the negative and the rest is history I uploaded it later and it's everywhere now,even in Ozzy's newest video. I actually met him in Jackson Ms and showed it to him and he asked if I would send him a copy-which I did. I have the original here with me
