thank you Susan. to answer your questions, i am starting with the painting....keeping the entire composition intact ( until i got to #39) and matching up photographs to each painting. these were done as long ago as 28 years and as recent as 4 years ago. i stopped my pure abstract expressions to go off in other directions. it's interesting that some of the paintings were not my favorites ....but coupling them has certainly made them stronger!
