Description
Soft autumn colors in the Japanese Garden, sized for greeting cards. The Japanese Gardens, part of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, is a 7-acre oasis of stone, earth, leaf and water. The garden was built in 1970 and many of the plants and construction materials were donated by Fort Worth's sister city Nagaoka, Japan. The gardens are centered around a system of ponds, surrounded by hills, and enclosed by a network of interconnected paths, pavilions, bridges, and decks. The garden unfolds as an ever-changing series of landscape perspectives to visitors who stroll along those thoroughfares.
