Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

Pansies are a symbol of remembrance. With that in mind, this was painted to be auctioned at the Relay for Life event taking place in Sarnia, Ontario June 19-20, 2009. The proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society in the name of our team, Old Phart's Irish Sweater. My sister-in-law and friend, Terri O'Connor wrote a poem to go with the painting:
In memory of those she loved
The pansy bows her head
As long as they live in her heart
They are never dead.
Since cancer has touched our lives so closely, far too many times, this is one small way we can fight back. To that end, $5.00 from the sale of each Pansies print will continue to be donated to the Cancer Society.
While art, whether it be drawing or painting or creating in clay, was my first love all through my younger years, after high school I went into a secretarial course at college. The following year I left school altogether, married and started my family. As a stay-at-home-Mom I found my creative outlet in crafts of all descriptions, and in cake decorating and the 'confectionery arts' which I also taught for more than 25 years from my home. Thanks Jimmie! My daughters' father died of cancer of the esophagus almost 2 years ago. Even though we had been divorced for more than 30 years, and we have lost several other family members to cancer, it is particularly in his honour that we take part in the Relay for Life. Every little bit we can do to fight back against this insidious disease, is worth the effort.
