Gorgeous landscape painting, well done, Jim!

This painting is wonderful,..I can feel the cold! The bridge in the background is done so well and the slight but essential bit of color to the sky is masterful. This is exceptional work Jim - very well done my friend!!! . .........Joe

Jim, All your paintings that I have seen are inspirational and beautiful. I wish I could think of more words to describe my admiration for your oil paintings... Your fan, anne

This is not a towel, but a thin piece of felt printed on one side, the other side blank white.. The reproduction of the painting is fine, but the description as a towel is completely misleading since it cannot be used as a towel. I was totally disappointed in the quality of this item

Received the order today. The towel came in soiled or dirty. See attached photo

What makes a painting? I sometimes ask myself. It would seem that I am the only one that could relate to this scene. The famous landscape painter George Inness (1825-1894) said that all that is required of a painting is that one elicits an emotion when viewing it. I will just go with that also.

About Jim Gola

Born in Philadelphia in the late thirties, Jim Gola grew up heavily influenced by art and the cultural atmosphere contained in this bustling city. Admiring much of the work of Americas past masters such as Inness, Moran, Chase, Homer and Bierstadt, among others. He then started to generate his lifelong love of oil painting. Moving to Oregon in the early sixties, while free lancing in art, Jim was introduced to the field of architecture. Upon receiving commissions to...
