So charming and beautiful! What a beautiful piece of art!

Love this scene, and the style is great...

Diana Dearen replied:

Hi Holly, Thank you....this painting was in honor of my father, who was an artist in Eastern TN...Smokey Mountains area

Striking creation!

Featured in the Creators Guild, great image by a Talented Member.

Thanks so much. You know the reward to ones work is when others are moved by it.

A gorgeous painting Diana! Celebrate life, Debra and Dave

nocturnal landscapes always have a talkative nature...they whisper questions to us....perhaps it is the reflected light of a moon?...in any event, your works are both talkative and questioning and a delight tdp

Awesome product. Got it in today and hung it up. Was a bit cautious having it shipped especially through UPS but it was packed super well and came in perfect condition even though UPS always beats up my boxes. Definitely will be lifelong decor considering the quality of the maple it is printed on. Would certainly recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing this.

This is a birthday present for my brother. And this is the first time I've ordered from this website. Let's get the party started.

Loved it, saw your work at the Estes Park Art Show around Memorial Day 2018 while visiting Colorado.

I love the piece so much! How well it works in my whimsical blue garden! I just did not know to depict the rabbit hole in the Alice in Wonderland area that this is the perfect conceptual representation. It is beautiful and whimsical. As I had to place it on a stump where a branch had been sawed, I hired a one skilled with a jigsaw to round the edges a bit for visual believability and, after attaching it to the stump, added tiny pieces of bark around the edge to help it blend with the stump. Great discovery!

Artist's Description

This painting is a tribute to my artist father. In the full moonlight ones eyes evenually adjust to see almost as well as daytime. Even the colors begin to brighten. I love the little cabin and can feel the warmth and cosiness of the light in the windows. I feel drawn into the scene and can walk on the rocks up to the cabin. Prints are available.

About Diana Dearen

I grew up in the southeast with my artist father but am very much at home in the south west. My inspiration comes from my life's experiences and the land around me. Being a college art instructor and a newspaper arts editor helped as well. I work from the spirit and heart, seeing the magnificent colors here in the southwest and feeling the energy from the ancients. I have always preferred to live & experience life to the fullest, I guess that's where my adventurous spirit comes from. After my divorce, did just that; I left the California corporate world and lived as a cowgirl for nearly five years in NM, NV, AZ and CO. While teaching art in college, I lived on an Indian Pueblo, just north of Santa Fe, NM for another five. After a...
