A tiny baby chick takes her first steps out into the big world after having recently hatched. Though Mom is nearby and keeping close watch, the youngster seems intent on wobbling away and discovering her first worm. A warm and fuzzy bundle of cuteness, she'll soon grow and become a useful and appreciated member of the farm-family, providing nutritious hen-fruit for her humans. Her eggs will be whipped into omelets for breakfasts, cakes for birthdays, and all kind of good things. Have a good life, little Peep Peep!!
This image was hand-painted digitally in Corel Painter with a wide variety of brushes on a Wacom Tablet and art pen ... loosely based on one of my own photos taken at a beautiful farm in rural Pennsylvania, not far from Harrisburg.
