The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

The path leading to the Vaishno Devi shrine from the base town of Katra. The path is a paved and easy path with a metal fence at the side, and clings to the side of a steep mountain. A large number of devotees use this path to reach the shrine, and is a fairly comfortable path with facilites for food and rest at regular distances. In the distance, the path is seen as covered and there is a trash can right at the side. The shrine of Vaishno Devi is one of the most revered shrines for the Hindu religion, being the second most visited such shrine (with the southern shrine of Tirupati) being the most visited shrine in India. The Vaishno Devi Mandir is dedicated to the manifestation of Shakti and is a manifestation of the mother goddess (a supreme being who is extremely powerful and plays a very important role in creation). The crowd of devotees is such that a view of the stones inside the cave (the cave is housing stones that are supposed to be a representation of the goddess) is very brie...
