Description
The elegance of the raindrops on the leaves of this fragrant summer shrub produce erratic patterns as they tumble down. This plant which originates from Morocco, a country in North Africa, has the Latin name of Cytisus battandieri, but it's common name is Pineapple Broom. Bright golden yellow, pea-like flowers are held in dense cones or plumes in June – July and give off a delicious pineapple scent which is popular with bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects
