It's gorgeous, it touches my heart, and I love it. I just lost my precious, darling German Shepherd after 15 years of having her love, her mischief making, her protection and her sweetness. I have framed this card and it's on my wall next to her photographs. I will cherish this.

Brilliant card. My Dad loved it

I bought the card to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Her name is “Diana” which is the Roman equivalent of the Greek “Artemis”. She loves the card and framed it!

I personally am a huge fan of Angela Yarber's art and have several originals. Her cards are a way of sharing her art and art of words with some of my favorite people. The quality of the card is excellent and the colors vibrant. I will continue to order through Fine Art America.

I vacationed in the Outer Banks 3 times and these photos remind me of the best times I've ever had in my life!

Artist's Description

Photo of Planet Mars, as seen from the Phoenix Mars Lander and rendered by artist Nikki Smith. This combines hundreds of images taken during the first several weeks after NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander arrived on an arctic plain at 68.22 degrees north latitude, 234.25 degrees east longitude on Mars. The landing was on May 25, 2008. These images were first combined into a 360 degree panorama and then converted to a "planet view" (stereographic projection) by artist Nikki Smith. Note that there is a vanishing point (pinch) in the center of the image where the robotic arm could not photograph itself. Shown in approximately true color, this shows the polygonal patterning of ground at the landing area, similar to patterns in permafrost areas on Earth. Trenches where Phoenix's robotic arm has been exposing subsurface material are visible. The spacecraft's meteorology mast, topped by the telltale wind gauge, extends into the sky.
