In honor of Veteran's Day...anyone who has lived or lives in Plymouth, Massachusetts is familiar with the Plymouth Training Green on Sandwich Street. Veteran's Day and Memorial Day parades end here with a ceremony.
In the center is the Grand Army of the Republic monument. "In 1711, this area was designated as a training ground for local soldiers. It became a memorial park in 1889. The monument is dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives in the Civil War and the War of 1812." ~ The Plymouth Patch
